Michigan again asks to close Chicago shipping locks to block invasive Asian carp
TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. Michigan renewed its plea Thursday for the U.S. Supreme Court to close Chicago shipping locks that could provide a pathway for Asian carp to attack the Great Lakes and wreak havoc on their $7 billion fishing industry.
